Sybil Seely (Jan. 2, 1902 – Jun 26, 1984) was a silent film actress who worked with the well known silent film comedy actor Buster Keaton. She was credited in most of her films as Sibye Trevilla.[1]
Sybil Seely was born as Sybil Travillia to Lucie Ellen Boyker (1855 – 1949) in Los Angeles, California.[2] She acted in her first film, Hearts and Flowers at the age of 17. She acted in eighteen films in total, most of which were filmed with co-actor Buster Keaton. In 1920, she married screenwriter Jules G. Furthman. In 1923, she retired from her acting career after giving birth to a son.[2] She died in Culver City, California, at the age of 82.[3]
